Our 2-year-old granddaughter and her family live about 3 miles away from a busy GA airport that is under some Class B airspace. They are right on the centerline of the main parallel runway. She loves the airplanes and is happy to point them out as they traverse the skies. Even when she's in the house, she points to the sky and her eyes light up when she hears the humming of an aircraft somewhere overhead. So, when I handed her my latest edition of Flying, she was fascinated and couldn't get enough of pointing out every airplane in the issue. I hope the seeds of aviation are planted and grow with her. One of my earliest memories as a human being is seeing a classic Cub on floats. Our granddaughter's favorite color is yellow. Grow, seeds, grow!
