An annual inspection should be a routine event, especially when the aircraft being inspected is flown several days a week for business as well as pleasure. Aircraft that are flown regularly are also taken care of regularly, and when the time comes for the annual it should be routine, no big deal. When annual time came up, my airplane had no squawks of any consequence except for a sticking wastegate in the turbocharger. Everything else was in good shape and I didn't expect a lot to be found even with the thorough inspection that I emphasized needed to be done.
