I looked all over SpaceShipOne and the White Knight, its mother ship, but couldn't find the "experimental" label visible anywhere. If there ever were experimental air and spacecraft, these were it. Maybe the required notice of experimental category was placed inside the access hatches where anyone entering would see them, but the placard would not be visible to others. Rules are rules and I'm certain the experimental warning label is there somewhere, but nobody needs to restate the obvious after taking one look at these Bun Rutan-designed exotics.
