ABOVE LEET Carrying the fleet name of 'Frobisher', this de Havilland DH.91 Albatross was on strength with Imperial Airways when Trevor photographed it. It was later destroyed when German aircraft attacked Whitchurch Airport, Bristol, on December 20,1940. ABOVE 'Egeria' was one of 14 Armstrong Whitworth AW.27 Ensigns built at Coventry and operated by Imperial Airways. This aircraft, G-ADSS, was one of three completed in December 1938 and sent on Christmas mail flights to Australia. However, none of the trio reached their destination due to mechanical problems.
