Germany's Antique-Aeroflyers (AAF) has completed its restoration of Spartan C-3 NC705N, and hopes to fly it soon from its base at Regio Airport Mengen in Hohentengen. The 1929-built machine is one of four surviving examples of the type, and the only one in Europe. The Spartan was designed as a three-seat utility aircraft in the 1920s - approximately 122 were built. The C-3 is AAF's ninth historic aircraft.
