The Russell Military Museum in Russell, Illinois, has acquired General Dynamics F-16B 81-0817, an aircraft that still wears the colours of its final operator, the 416th Flight Test Squadron, which is currently based at Edwards AFB, California. This jet was used by Lockheed Martin as a chase plane in the F-22 Raptor development programme. The museum is hoping to restore it to static display Condition.
