The Belgian Air Force's No.350 Squadron celebrated its 70th anniversary on November 10 and adorned its Lockheed F-16AM FA-68 with a special colour scheme for the occasion. The unit was formed at RAF Valley, Anglesey, on November 12,1941, as the first Belgian-manned fighter squadron in the RAF and became operational with the Supermarine Spitfire IIA on December 22. After the war, it became part of the occupation forces in Germany until being transferred to the Belgian Air Force on October 15,1946.
