With reference to the letter in the November issue about Battle of Britain movie 'stars'. I had corresponded with the late Earl Reinert about [Curtiss] P-40s and other warbirds in the late 1970s and when I was in Chicago on business I picked him up and he directed me where to see various warbirds and projects on June 11-12,1977. Besides visiting his own Victory Air Museum, where I sat in the cockpit of the Hispano Buchon on display, we also visited a garage at Riverside owned by John Lowe, who had a number of dismantled former movie Hispanos plus a Spitfire.
