A full range of sieve magnets to enhance product purity is now available from Eclipse Magnetics. Claimed to be easy to install, the sieve magnets are compatible with the industry standard vibratory sieves manufactured by the likes of Russell Finex and Farleygreene without any modifications. Typically positioned beneath the sieve screen in food processing applications including dry powders and granulates, the sieve magnets enabled excellent separation, Eclipse said. Due to the high-intensity magnetic field, even sub-micron-sized ferrous metal and paramagnetic contamination could be successfully attracted and removed, it added.
