Breweries had estimated that 500 million litres of beer would be consumed during the 2013 Tet - the New Lunar Year of the Snake. Sabeco may have remained the biggest manufacturer, but it only has a capacity to produce 260 million litres of beer open for consumption, followed by VBL Danang Ltd with 100 million litres, and Habeco with 100 million litres. There are always the reliable imports, as well as beer products from the other 350 breweries in the country that were also expected to join in satisfying the market demand of the day.
