The Victorian Desalination Project, Australia's largest seawater desalination plant, has completed its 30-day continuous production test and has reached full operation, three years after its construction. The plant is running on low- and medium-voltage drives and medium-voltage motors supplied by GE. Amongst the largest reverse osmosis facilities in the world, it can supply 150 billion litres of water annually.
