Premier Foods has launched its latest OXO innovation-Reduced Salt Stock Granules in a PET container from Graham Packaging.rnPremier Foods required a lightweight, square container in line with OXO's iconic "cube" branding look. "We were tasked with producing a translucent amber jar which matched OXO's Concentrate Liquid Stock bottles, and solid amber would have been too dark," explained Adrian Bird, production and development manager at the Chalgrove Plant. "This translucency combined with the square shape meant that any variation in the thickness of the walls would have affected the colour of the product. The preform was designed to ensure consistency across the packs and, once in production, set very tight wall thickness limits."
