Beatson Clark in Rotherham manufactures bottles for the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical markets. Their glass ovens run constantly and as such, there is an endless stream of product that has to be transported, packed and palletised at their site in Rotherham.rnLarger bottles are sent directly to bottle palletisers, but smaller bottles must be placed in trays and shrink wrapped prior to being palletised. In 1995, Transnorm installed the first of a number of conveyor lines to feed conventional layer palletisers. Supported from the roof structure they allow free access around the area. In some cases lines are still working as they were originally installed, but due to changing markets and new robot palletiser installations, additions and modifications have been made over the years, with the most recent when the second infeed of an existing robot palletiser required feeding from a shrink wrap machine.
