Jeff Bercovici's cover profile of Tumblr founder David Karp examined the challenge he faces trying to maximize profits from a minimalist platform. Some readers, though, were most struck by Karp's pricey but virtually empty Brooklyn apartment. Rebecca Greenfield, on the Atlantic Wire: "These entrepreneurs like to look like they don't care about money, even if they do." Karp's spartan lifestyle includes a dearth of clothes that fit. "The [FORBES] creative director thought it was very important that my shirt cuffs be fully expressed," Karp blogged about his cover shoot.
