Google's Chrome Cr-48 laptop is about as direct a connection to the Internet as you can get There's a keyboard, a 12.8-inch screen, a browser that runs in between the two and a stripped-down operating system. It is a black "no logo" test model of the kind of computers Acer and Samsung will sell this spring. Google has already released over 60,000 of them into die wild. The Cr-48 is a foretaste of how we might be living online. Google figures that soon enough die Internet will host our work software, along with our videos, pictures and music.
