You know Joel McHale. How could you not? He hosts E!'s popular TV-clip show, The Soup. He's the star of the NBC sitcom Community. He tours the country doing standup, 16 gigs in 2010, on stages from Carnegie Hall to the Chicago Theatre. He's slated to appear in three films this year, including The Big Year, with Steve Martin, Owen Wilson and Jack Black, and Spy Kids 4. Why so busy? "My dad always said, 'Have a backup plan,' so now I have a lot of irons in the fire," says McHale, a 39-year-old father of two. "When you work so hard to get work, you don't want to stop."
