Established in 1965, the Dubai Chamber has traditionally served the interests of the city's legendary trading community. And while it's true that even today two-thirds of its members are traders, like the rest of Dubai, the Dubai Chamber is changing.rnThe organizations new corporate identity, launched late last year, reflects a deeper strategic shift that seeks to address the changing makeup of the Dubai business community.rn"The Dubai Chamber used to focus mainly on the traditional economy, but with the new brand, we are looking at new economy [sectors] as well," says His Excellency Hamad Mubarak Buamim, the Dubai Chamber's Director General.
