Similar to a social network, the core charter of Moli's business and the reason we developed a new patent-pending technology platform is to give members full control of their privacy on our site ("The Second Coming of Christos," June 16, p. 56). The technology we've developed cannot single out members or target them for advertising purposes. We do not scan profiles or sell lists.rnInstead, our technology enables us to view unidentifiable demographic variables such as gender and age to create a psychographic composite of what members do on the site. This composite information is available free to all Moli members on their personal control panel. It is also used to develop specific, original, professionally created content on the site tailored to the interests of our members, who tend to be adult "creative class" individuals and small business owners.
