摘要

Tony snow, who died last month from cancer at age 53, was a man of substance, principle, integrity and good humor. As a journalist, he mastered print, television and radio. He also mastered the treacherous politics of Washington.rnI first met Tony when he was a speechwriter for President George H.W. Bush in the early 1990s and later got to know him when I ran for President. One was immediately struck by his good nature, brains and determination. His questions were tough, but he was not playing the "gotcha" game. He had a genuine curiosity and placed subjects in a broader context. His insights were his own.
