When businesses realize how much time — and thus money — they can save by streamlining their payment processes, they begin to search for solutions that are more efficient and cost-effective than paper checks. One such solution is the use of purchasing cards that currently generate transaction cost savings of over $23 billion per year. Companies are now looking for additional electronic payment tools to help streamline the procure-to-pay process for the broad spectrum of goods and services they purchase, while helping them better manage cash position and reduce costs.
