摘要

The documentation of cancer patient treatment in certified cancer centers is one of the most important requirements to demonstrate the quality of medical treatment; therefore, a good collaboration of cancer centers and registries is necessary. In 2011 the German Cancer Society (DKG), the Working Group of German Tumor Centers (ADT) and the Cooperative Association of Quality Assurance by Clinical Cancer Registries (KoQK) for the first time invited participation in a workshop in order to improve this collaboration. A second workshop took place in Berlin in 2012 and 120 participants from different cancer registries and cancer centers discussed the most urgent questions in their clinical experience regarding documentation. As a result the frequently asked questions (FAQs) were interpreted, answered and put together in a manual. Another result is the establishment of a platform to strengthen the dialogue between registries and centers.
