A paper in press with this journal and accessible via Science Direct [1] presents values for the dynamic viscosity of oils used in biodiesel production. SI units for dynamic viscosity are of course kg m~(-1) s~(-1) which is equivalent to pascals x seconds, and in recent years pascal seconds (Pa s) has become the more common way of writing this unit. In Table 4 of [1 ] the dynamic viscosities are given in units mPa which of course is incorrect. Presumably, for example, the value of 47.94 mPa for the dynamic viscosity of soybean oil should be 47.94 ×10~(-3)Pa s.
