摘要

The tumour micro-environment is composed of a complex mixture of tumour and host-derived cells. Growth and progression of tumours is therefore not controlled merely by the malignant state of tumour cells, but also by the interplay with their micro-environment. Distinct stimuli from tumours also affect various cell types of the immune system that are recruited into the micro-environment.
