The infinite sum on the fuzzy real line R(I) has been investigated by Wang Geping (Fuzzy Sets and Systems 98 (1998) 241). In this paper we introduce the notion of convergence of sequences on R(I), give some conditions for a sequence on R(I) to be convergent and discuss some properties of convergence of sequences on R(I).
