Recently, Johns Manville (JM), a leading manufacturer of premium-quality building, specialty and filtration products and a Berkshire Hathaway company, celebrated the inauguration of a state-of-the-art polyester spunbond production line at its facility in Berlin, Germany. The new production line is part of a strategic plan to support the growing demand for high-end polyester filtration media. The new production line utilises newly devel-oped proprietary spinning technology and will increase the Berlin plant's spunbond lightweight capacity by more than 40%. The company invested more than 32 million euros to build the line. The inauguration ceremony at the plant was attended by some 70 guests, including customers, local elected officials, project partners and employees.
