We live in an ever-changing world. At one time, the world's vastness seemed to keep economies and cultures isolated from one another. Today's economies are interacting more so than ever before, helping to create and shape a new global society. International cultures that were once isolated from one another, are today intermingling and sharing with each other the many attributes that make them unique. Two key factors, which help change our world into a global society, are the internet and international travel (air). Americans have done their part to help shape the world society. According to the Office of Travel and Tourism, 37, 354, 842 (2012) Americans traveled overseas in 2010.
