At long last, printers in the U.S. are investing in bindery "systems" and workflow solutions that help to flush bottlenecks, boost productivity, and ease operator effort. As printers continue to search for the most automated, productive method of producing jobs, the market for guillotine cutters remains robust. Sheetfed presses, running at their fastest speeds ever, are producing jobs that are being fed into the bindery for cutting and finishing. Not wanting to create bottlenecks there, printers are installing complete bindery flow systems, including cutters as the central component, to efficiently finish those jobs.
