Environmental groups are trying to force EPA to hand over records showing communications between the agency and industry representatives. Friends of the Earth and the Center for Biological Diversity filed suit today in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, arguing that EPA violated the Freedom of Information Act failing to provide more than a perfunctory response to the environmental groups' requests for documents earlier this year.
