More than a dozen CEOs and several environmental groups have banded together to demand federal climatelegislation.The initiative announced today has been dubbed the CEO Climate Dialogue and includes companies such as BPPLC, Exelon Corp., Dominion Energy Inc., PG&E Corp., DuPont and Royal Dutch Shell PLC.Shell last month left the lobbying association the American Fuel & Petrochemical Manufacturers overdisagreements about climate change (Energywire, April 4).The new coalition says it plans to build support for climate policies on both sides of the aisle, laying out sixprinciples it is advocating for.
