Joe Exotic didn't get his ballyhooed presidential pardon, but other, less flamboyant wildlife and environmental lawviolators did.As part of a much-anticipated, and reportedly much lobbied-over, package of final day pardons, former PresidentTrump extended his hand to men busted for breaking the Migratory Bird Treaty Act, the Clean Air Act and theLacey Act, which regulates wildlife trafficking, among other laws.Trump granted a full pardon to James Johnson Jr., who in 2008 pleaded guilty to charges related to the illegalhunting with bait of migratory birds in Virginia. Johnson, now in his 70s, received a one-year probation, wasbarred from hunting during that period and was given a $7,500 fine.
