A federal judge is giving U.S. EPA until October 2021 to complete past-due reviews of air toxics standards for nine industrial sectors -more time than environmental groups had wanted but considerably less than the agency said it needed. EPA must "comply with its statutory obligations as expeditiously as possible," U.S. District Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson of the District of Columbia wrote in an opinion issued this weekend.
