California Republican Rep. Steve Knight yesterday seized on challenger Bryan Caforio's failure to include water security among the most important issues facing the northern San Fernando Valley-based district. Knight used the misstep in his continued attacks on the Democratic attorney for moving to the 25th District only weeks before filing to run. Knight, a freshman GOP lawmaker who is one of the GOP's most endangered incumbents this cycle, faced off with Caforio yesterday in an hourlong debate hosted by Santa Clarita radio station KHTS-AM.
