Colorado's newly legal marijuana industry is using more electricity, which could sabotage the state's attempt to use less energy and comply with the Clean Power Plan. Denver officials said yesterday electricity use has been growing at a rate of 1.2 percent per year, and nearly half of that comes from marijuana-growing facilities.
