The Fish and Wildlife Service wants to split the recovery plan for the bull trout into six parts,rntailoring conservation measures to specific populations.rnThe proposal is part of the agency's latest attempt at a recovery plan for a species whosernwide range often puts it at odds with landowners and developers. Bull trout -- which are listedrnas threatened under the Endangered Species Act -- require cold, pristine water, as well as arnvariety of habitats to spawn and feed.
