摘要

Anyone who has ever taught (or taken) a lecture class appreciates the value of a good demonstration. It breaks up long and sometimes complicated lectures, engages the students, promotes active learning, and helps to convey a potentially confusing or oft-misunderstood concept. Most instructors have one or two favorites they rely on over the course of a given semester. Most instructors do not, however, have enough time or resources to design and test a plethora of activities designed specifically for water topics.
