Neven Kresic's new book provides an extensive review of the hydraulics and management issues associated with karst aquifers; it will be of particular interest to planners, developers, engineers, and hydrogeologists with limited background in karst hydrogeology. The book is comprised of three parts: "Karst Hydro-geology and Hydrology," "Management of Water in Karst," and "Vulnerability and Restoration of Water in Karst." The book is heavily weighted toward Part 1: Chapters 1 ("Karst Aquifers"), 2 ("Flow Measurements and Analysis"), and 3 ("Drainage Areas in Karst") comprise the first 390 pages of the book.
