POMERON PHYSICS AND THE GLUEBALL REGGE TRAJECTORIES

In this contribution, intricacies of the Pomeron Physics are investigated through the Glueball Regge trajectories. This endeavor provides a sturdy basis for conceptualizing the Pomeron as a leading Glueball candidate, for there exists a prominent correlation between the Glueball Regge trajectory and the Pomeron trajectory. Two gluon Glueballs impeccably seem to be the intrinsic Pomeron constituents. Experimental facet of the Pomeron Physics clearly promotes the conjecture that the Pomeron is a single Regge pole singularity. The slope and the intercepts of the Glueball Regge trajectories are the basic enlightening parameters that provide associations with the Pomeron trajectories. Moreover, this particular analysis points towards the fact that the expected Pomeron is basically a blend of the theoretical soft and hard Pomerons. The string tension parameter is coherently related to the slope of the Glueball Regge trajectory and we have tried to study the implications of this parameter upon the Glueball dynamics, under the fundamental and the adjoint string model.
