摘要

The bottom contribution in the atmospheric lepton fluxes in the context of perturbative QCD has been revisited. Attention has been paid to explore the theoretical uncertainties due to extrapolations of the gluon distributions in small-x scale. It is shown that the bottom contribution to the atmospheric muon flux becomes dominant beyond the conventional contribution from p and K meson decays at energies of about 10~6 GeV. The present result has been found comparable with the earlier observation.
