A few months ago, I submitted work to two international miniature-textile biennales to be held in Europe. I received, on the same day, notices from both shows. The first one I opened told me nicely that my work had not been accepted. The other notice informed me that my small tapestry had not only been accepted but had been awarded Best in Show! These exhibitions were equally prestigious. They had different themes and I had offered quite different works. Of course, I am sure that one of the juries made a sorry mistake!
