The recently announced retirement of Frank Robinson marks the end (or perhaps the beginning) of a legend - the man who brought the pleasures and benefits of helicopter flying to the man in the street. Were he a British citizen, he would probably be Sir Frank now, if only for surviving and winning the battle against the then decidedly obstructive Civil Aviation Authority!
