Lord & Taylor has jumped into the off-price format game - and back into the home products business -with the opening of its first Find @ Lord and Taylor store, a format designed by parent company Hudson's Bay to attract Millennials. The 30,000-square-foot store opened its doors in Paramus, N.J., last month in a former Loehmann's location. Brightly lit and easy to navigate, this newcomer to the discount arena is primed to appeal to all kinds of shoppers. Purple is the store's signature color, from a lit-up outdoor sign to signs designating sections inside the store. Shoes and apparel dominate the assortment, including clearance items from the department store business. Home, home decor and a small selection of housewares -categories not found in Lord & Taylor -occupy approximately 15% of the store.
