Founded in Offenbach, Germany, in 1945, Scholl entered the market with its first product - Plate warmer 2008 -that today has been sold more than 50,000 times even as the company's product range has grown steadily. Today Scholl is based in Bad Marienberg/Westerwald, Germany. In 1990 a new sheet metal processing center was integrated into its operations, and at the beginning of the new millennium the machine park was extended by a laser plant, which increased productivity. Now in 2015, as Scholl celebrates its 70th anniversary, the company credits its staff of more than 80 people as the cornerstone of its success.
