Micros hotel customers are already benefiting from NFC mobile phone technology integration, and Micros-Fidelio also is currently piloting Micros-Fidelio car key technology. The NFC car key will hold vital data about the vehicle, such as the GPS location. For hoteliers, the technology will ultimately allow drivers to book online with their NFC car key utilizing secure stored hotel room details. Several partners are piloting or scheduled to pilot the NFC car key technology in the next six months.
