Presidente Intercontinental Hotels in Mexico launched wireless local area networks at its properties in Mexico City, Guadalajara and Puerto Vallarta using systems by Motorola Solutions Inc. The move allows the hotels to manage more check-in and check-out processes automatically while offering guests wireless Internet access. "In regards to the Mexico City hotel, Motorola Solutions' offer was 19% less expensive than the offers provided by other suppliers," says Juan Manuel Romero Cebada, IT director of Presidente Intercontinental Hotels.
