Chefs know that diners eat with their eyes. The same is true about cocktail drinkers. For that reason, hotel bars and lounges around the world are showing off craft and signature drinks in inventive glassware. On the cool list: stemless glasses, wide-mouthed tumblers and freezable beer mugs, as well as classic Champagne flutes and martini glasses. "Next to the ice, the glass is one of the most important components of a cocktail," says Bridget Albert, author of "Market Fresh Mixology: Cocktails for Every Season" and director of mixology for Southern Wine and Spirits of Illinois.
