Quelle surprise. Philippe Starck is going against the grain-only, this time, the grain is teak. Bonding across the centuries with a fellow rebel, Robin Hood, Starck is coming out with his first outdoor collection, RobinWood Deluxe. "I really became interested in the outdoor life, in trying to understand the parameters," he says of the 26 pieces, two years in development with Sutherland. 'The name came naturally. This collection is a rebellious one." That's certainly evident with the convention-defying Prince John Shower Throne, fully functional when connected to a water source beneath the platform.
