Franee's Accor wanted its first city center hotel in Chicago to be an icon. Paris-based architect Jean-Paul Viguier and interior designer Pierre-Yves Rochon delivered the Sofitel Chicago Water Tower. Angular, bold and handsome, this seven-month-old, 415-room new build hotel incorporates all the reference points of where hotel design is headed.
