摘要

In the world of hotel management contracts, two parties have always sat on either side of the bargaining table. The owner, having taken the financial risk of building or acquiring a hotel, offers a fee to the other party, and the manager, who supplies operational expertise, manages the business so that both can profit from the revenues derived from the real estate asset. Of course, virtually no industry expert today believes the hotel business can be simplified to such a degree. The days of Hilton, Hyatt or Marriott managing only for a fee and being left alone by the owner for 20 years at a time are long past.
