摘要

In mid-August a month-long expedition of the bound narrow fjord- like Loch Ness, Scotland, was completed by the Academy of Applied Science (www.aas-world.org). A Chirp type side-scan sonar Was used to establish an 'acoustic net' extending from the centre of The 24 mile long, I-I1/2 mile wide and (average) 650 feet deep lake, Laterally to the opposing steep rocky sides and vertically from its top Surface to the bottom, and then to draw the 'net' longitudinally from End-to-end of the lake in search of possible sizeable mid-water Objects.
