A continuous zigzag network of reinforcement-wire rods serves as an embedded electric heating system warm- ing the column joints of concrete dams in order to be able to carry out grouting operations. It consists of a row of parallel heating bars joined successively into a single heating link forming the heating section. Several such links whose ends are joined by means of conductors and are lead out from the concrete (Fig. l) can be placed in the grouting site. The system is installed before concreting the block.
